gerryruiz photoblog mark II is the continuation of the photo journal, gerryruiz photoblog hosted at wordpress.com. This in effect now becomes Part II of that photoblog, or what I’d like to call, Mark II.

I just had to comment on your photos and description of these beautiful islands. My family and I will be in the Philippines for the month of June 2010 (coming from the US). I have been on the websites researching the Visayas and Mindanao, as this is where we will mostly be spending a lot of time. I am a Filipino/American but came to the US at a very very young age (1969) with my parents. I was last there for a visit in 1988. Now, I want my husband and children to see the beauty of the Philippines. My kids were in awe and never imagined that your photographs are glimpses of the Philippines. You have made me proud.
