It was our first trip to Vietnam and, sure, the excitement was there. :)

Having done some prior browsing research on it, I was relatively ready for the sights and sounds and for the exotic food Vietnam has to offer.

And, yes, setting aside all war info about the place, I knew beforehand Saigon was also famous for its chaotic motorbike traffic.

But not until I actually saw it with my own eyes… It’s a city of motorbikes – every which way they go!!!

So here’s an intro on Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon’s new name) – the morning scene one fine day in the city.

Good morning, Saigon!

  2. I’ve never seen anything like the motorbike traffic in Saigon. It is insanity plus one LOL.

  3. Hi Sir Gerry,

Enjoy your Vietnam trip. The trick when crossing a sea of motorbikers – just walk slowly, close your eyes, go with the flow. Ito ang payo ng aming tourist guide during our visit last year. And it really worked. Photographers’ haven ang Vietnam, plus good & cheap food. Don’t miss the Lemon Grass Restaurant & Mekong River tours. Take care and have a safe trip back home.
