There was no avoiding it – we just had to get back to the enchanting island before summer’s gone!

And so the family (minus the “new” mother – sorry Nani, next time when baby Kenji gets bigger) with Capt. Kitchie, the family pet, hied off last Friday the 13th to Kalanggaman Island (also spelled Calanggaman as viewed in Google), one hour boat ride away from the coastal town of Palompon, Leyte.

Sheer paradise!

  2. Good day!!! I was also in Kalanggaman last weekend. I thought I was mistaken that you were there but you proved me wrong… I was hesitant to approach you, sir. I am a fan of your blog and also your destinations…

    I’ve been to this island thrice since March after your first blog about the island. I am mesmerized by the island, its clear waters and the overall serenity.
