Leyte Gulf Travel and Tours (LGTT) was borne primarily out of the need to promote travel and leisure tours to yet untapped and undeveloped tourist destinations in Eastern Visayas, Region 8 – comprising the provinces of Samar, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Leyte, Southern Leyte and Biliran; and, secondly, to provide linkage as well to other established leisure and travel agencies both domestic and international.

Leyte Gulf Travel and Tours also handles airlineĀ ticketing services as well as other travel arrangements for both domestic and international tourists.

LGTT is an accredited tour operator of the Department of Tourism and works closely with the Regional Department of Tourism Office and the Tourism Departments of various Local Government Units in Region 8.

LGTT has established pioneering inroads towards further development and promotion of the regional tourism thrust in this part of the country.
